There Was a Little Girl

There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very, very good,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I think this must be true for all girls...Especially one's with curls. I'm sure you looked it up, but in our nursery rhyme book, it says, "When she was good, she was very, very good..." So is it a nursery rhyme, or Longfellow? Or did his poem become a nursery rhyme?

lolol Moma used to say this rhyme to me all the time as I grew up, even as a teen, I remember it so well! What a great picture of Caroline. It's perfect.

What a cute little girl. I hope you guys are doing well. Congrats on making it through the first year of school and on having such a cute little family. Let us know if you want to come visit Florida!

There is a little girl,
Who has little curls,
and seeing her, and her daddy and mommy, made her family in Idaho very, very happy.
We love you all so much!
